Yes, they’re everywhere and yes some are filthy and gross but the most recent one I visited was awesome! Cheap wood paneling, yellow formica-like counter tops and weird people; my idea of fun!
I wanted breakfast so instead of dirtying up my kitchen for an egg and a few side items I went to The Waffle House. They wait on you over the kitchen side of the table, it took about 5 minutes to get my food and they have a juke box!! I was called sweetie 10 or so times and my bill was under $7?? Once again a fabulous, well interesting experience in the “simple” not fancy way of dining!
